with regards to Brimstone, Coal Creek, Windrock, Royal Blue, is there a one time fee to be able to ride all those places that anyone knows of? I know Hatfield & McCoys there is a one time fee if you want to ride all year, Royal Blue the same since we got there in May. I'm told that would be the same for Coal Creek, Windrock, & Brimstone with having to pay there also. I guess Harlan KY & other places will be the same? That could rack up some coins if you plan on trying to make it to those places more than once or even twice? tks

Mike Farmer would probably be the best person to answer this question. I will message him and ask him to get back to you on it. I do believe that if you have a TN hunting license with WMA (wildlife management area) stamp you can ride Royal Blue but not sure if it works for Brimstone. I know Coal Creek has a $10.00 day pass, or at least they did last time I rode there.

For the money the best value is Hatfield McCoy. There you buy one pass and you get to ride all of there trails.
The next best value is the trails in the state of Tennessee. You can ride royal blue, north cumberland, and little river all for the cost of a hunting license and a small game stamp. (there is about 300,000 acres in these 3) As a note on this pass i might say if you want camping and services to buy an annual permit to Windrock/Coalcreek $88, or Brimestone $75 since these properties border the state riding areas. In the state of tennessee you have access to 500,000 acres of riding with these permits in the North Cumberland area.
Black mountain has a $35 yearly permit per person with discounts for family and multiple vehicles. The state of Ky is very ohv friendly. If you note there fees are very low. There is one park above Middlesboro that charges no fee to ride. They just want you to come and spend money.
I think i will make a list of places to ride and have it put on the site with some reviews and places to see.

went to Windrock/Coal Creek Friday, cheaper than I81 and need I say BETTER! I81 is a JOKE to say the least. Anyway, Coal Creek was I think $17 for the day, but I bought a year pass for $88. I believe those prices are accurate, but the website is up to date and prices are on there. Great place to go and everyone is friendly unlike I81!
