Buffalo Mt. OHV trail TEMPORARILY closed. The trail will be closed temporarily from the Pinnacle fire tower parking area to the end of the trail at deacon's creek until repaires are made from damages sustained from receient flooding. The first 5 miles of trail will remain open to the public.

The USFS says it should be able to have their work completed by the middle of October.

I just wanted to make everybody aware that the contractor (Tommy Hooper) will be starting next Monday to perform repair work on the damaged stream crossings up on Buffalo ATV. Hopefully he will be able to make quick work of it and we’ll be able to get it back open soon. Thanks! Matthew J Fusco Landscape Architect Cherokee National Forest
