major bummer, seen your posting on craigslist also. No surprise not hearing from police. Back years ago, our house got broke into 3 times & the last time, a VCR of my girl from birth to 6 months got stolen. A little time pasted & this gents mother in law turned him in to police because he was beating her daughter. The mother told what he had stolen & where he put it, later going back to get it. When investigators did there investigation, taking prints & all, they told me even with the mother in law giving them this info, they couldn't do a thing unless they got him with a piece of what he stole from my house. I then asked the investigator if someone had to get killed? Anymore, i think it is to protect the guilty, IMO. Sorry again for your loss. Hope this guy gets caught but then what? Can you get blood out of a turnip?
