nice pics.... if u like to see more of stonemtn the legal areas on the upper end contact me... alot of people dont know anything past the chopper pad/ big sandy out to hole in the rock is off limits to atvs... the lower end does not offer alot of rideing unless u cross over into ky... an no your way around... we ride the upper end near stone creek an stcharles va... these rides are with our club/ me more info just call or email me stonemtnrubicon@comcast.net

hey Rodney. I signed up for the text alerts when you guys are going rideing and have never gotten one. We are planning a trip up there week after next lets see if we can line something up.
Our club would like to help you guys in anyway possible. You have one of if not the best riding in the area.

iv only done some guideing in west va last few rides... our next one in march 26th...my phone got switched to at&t an i lost alot of my cell numbers.. just fill out the contact form on the blog.. an i now have it fixed where it goes to my email address book where u rideing at that wkd?

most likely there. I will try to find some friends and come ride with ya. I am still a little concerned about fuel. I have an 800cc and it drinks the fuel but i am sure it will be okay.
I really would like to go to hensley settlement and i know we can't ride to the sand cave but would like to know the way there. It is worth a little hike. And of course the cliff overlooks.

sand cave is a ways out the mtn... little over rated if u ask me... lol... alot of sand... nothing like the cave on tac creek..thats huge an u can ride to it.... this wkd is looking WET AN STORMY.. we may change up the ride.. an stay all in va sat in case it stsrts lighting.... as for the 100 milers the worse bike iv seen on gas is the 800 efi or a 750 brute force... but with a gas stop an a 2 gal they had plenty left over... big bore bikes get better mpg when we run a little faster... not like bristol.... but on the trails we can open it up..alittle iv seen a 800efi go 78 miles an runing slow it was empty at 46 miles...not sure if ill be in town april 1st wkd... ill prolly ride the 2ed wkd.... in april an rest of the month...
