To all who missed this trip it was Well an experince to say the least. It all started out round about 9pm on July 15th. The MTN Trail Riders left from the McDonalds in Gray from there our journey tooks us north up 26 then east where we picked up 81. We then took exit 14 that is where the real adventuer began. Shortly after turning onto this road we found ourselvs on a road where (I kid you not) a man walking down the street with walker is almost hit by a car driving in reverse on that crooked a-- road (rememeber this is 100% true) this road then turned onto a new WV road with a 12% grade no lines and no gaurd rails.Oh yes dont forget the coal trucks who apparently own the road. After all this we finnnly arived in Pineville WV at the happy trails atv resort I was not impressed with them over all. In the morning we took a short road drive to the Pinnical Creek trail head where we purchesed our trail passes and we hit the trail. This trail system was nice this would be a great place to take a beginner to give them a small taste of what a trail ride could be. Most of the trails were wide open logging roads with short to medium 2 track loops back onto the main trail over all this was an easy trail. I was not able to ride the Indain ridge trail however I have heard that it was awesome. I cant wait to try it out on our next trip by the way is August 13-14. Hope to see you there!!

We rode the Indian Ridge trail system on sun the 17th and it was awesome. There were a lot of good flowing sections with a lot of ups and downs and smooth turns you could hammer through like a roller coaster and the scenery was nice. We also rode some trails that had some mean climbs that were tough. And later in the day me and some of the guys rode some single track trails that were so good words cant explain.Oh and did I mention we covered 94 miles of trail on Sunday? This was a long distance adventure ride with everything from easy to almost impossible in between. One of the most fun trails was the connector between indian ridge and pinnacle creek. Pinnacle creek was ok but indian ridge was a lot better. This was the first trip my wife and kids went on and she says it was the most fun she ever had. Believe it or not we wore jackets most of the weekend. Sorry you didnt make it on sunday Sam but that just means we will have to go back. Words of advice take extra gas, tools, cash, food, first aid kit and anything else you can take with you.
